I recently switched all the Alexa echos in our home to respond to the word “computer” instead of “Alexa” because of crafty marketing assholes and to be more like Star Trek. It is taking some getting used to but so far so good.
For us old people we remember a time when saying computer would happen several times a day but now, well now nobody says it. It’s lost in time like dial up and rotary phone. Funny how quickly that word came into and out of favor with us.
